AY YOLA

AY YOLA is a newly formed folk-pop / ethno-pop trio from Ufa, Russia (Bashkortostan) that debuted in 2024. The group combines traditional Bashkir musical elements—such as native instruments and motifs from local epics—with modern production and electronic sounds. Their breakout single “Homay”, released in March 2025, went viral across Turkic-speaking countries and topped charts in Russia and neighboring regions. The name “Ay Yola” has Bashkir origins, and the group’s concept emphasizes bridging tradition and modernity, reviving cultural identity through contemporary music.
