Biography
Aerosmith is an American rock band formed in Boston in 1970, known for their energetic performances, blues-influenced hard rock sound, and charismatic frontman Steven Tyler. The classic lineup includes Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, and Brad Whitford. Often called “the Bad Boys from Boston” and “America’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band,” they rose to fame in the 1970s with hits like “Dream On,” “Sweet Emotion,” and “Walk This Way.” After a resurgence in the 1980s and 1990s, with songs like “Dude (Looks Like a Lady),” “Cryin’,” and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” Aerosmith became one of the best-selling rock bands of all time and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
